About Jim Martens:
Jim Martens, Chief Commodity Analyst & Trader’s Classrom Instructor
Jim’s study of R.N. Elliott’s work began in the mid-1980s, leading to a position with Sabin Commodities in New York. In 1993, he joined Elliott Wave International, where he soon became editor of the Currency & Commodities Forecast. In 2000, he accepted a Chief Technical Analyst role at the George Soros-affiliated hedge fund Nexus Capital, before returning to Elliott Wave International in 2004. Today, he serves as Elliott Wave International’s Chief Commodity Analyst and is also a Trader’s Classroom instructor.
